Alone

Why this tree is left in this field beats me, there must be a reason for the farmer not to have it felled.I suppose it is a good vantage point for birds a sort of lookout. At least this tree hasn't got competition for space by other trees like there is in woodlands.

Hampstead Heath London

This rather large family of cootes was taken in pond number 1 Hampstead heath and thats not all of them as there are more outside of this picture.

Thames at low tide.

This shot was taken from Gabrials wharf lookig east toThe oxo building. The tide was still on it's way out, the buildings in the distance are the city of London.

Cutty Sark tea clipper.

This shot was taken in Greenwich London about two or three years ago, but early this year there was a fire and the upper deck was destroyed but by luck the rigging had been removed earlier as the ship was being restored and it will still be saved but at a much higher cost. The police have not ruled out arson.

Smithfield Market London.

These Phone kiosks are in Smithfield market London, most people now own a mobile phone so these may not be used very often now. I don't know why there are two diferent size kiosks if you notice there are three of each size.
